research to create a new model for sustainable management.

The sustainable management criteria used by market
indexes of "responsible" companies, such as the Dow Jones
Sustainability Index, were collected and organized into a database
where they were organized by semantic content - common ideas were
grouped together.

The criteria were sorted by frequency to identify what is
of most concern to most responsible investors - what are the most
important sustainability criteria in the eyes of the financial markets?

The most important criteria were organized into Balanced Scorecard and
Baldrige frameworks.
The results are published in
this paper,
Integrating Market-Based Sustainability
Indicators and Performance Management Systems.
Our next step will be
evaluating the new Sustainability Reporting Guidelines of the Global
Reporting Initiative to match them against this framework. Stay tuned
